Al Salam
Medical Centre in the UAE exchange centre building in Rolla, Sharjah, has come a long way since its humble beginning on March 25, 1982. Under the able and amiable stewardship of Dr. Bose, it remains an affordable medical facility and is a trusted name in the field of dermatology today.
The doctor, who was born and brought up in humble circumstances, remains humble to the core despite the admirable achievements in his professional and personal lives.
Looking back at the 25 years of his clinic as well as the period before that, Dr. Bose recalls that the initial period was full of struggle.
“I spent six harrowing months job-hunting,” Dr. Bose said. During his search for a job, he also happened to visit a new clinic in Abu Dhabi. The owner of the clinic was none other than Mr. B.R Shetty. Bose remembers with deep gratitude about the valuable reference he gave, Dr. Smith, a British consultant Dermatologist at Central Hospital in Abu Dhabi.
“My association with Dr. Smith for about 1 month and a certificate from him led to obtaining a job in Saif gobash Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah.” And in no time, he won recognition as a dermatologist. His career was cruising smoothly when he lost job under unfortunate circumstances.
Again after another six month of struggle for a job, the idea of a clinic originated and with the help of several “ordinary people” and Hassan Abdulla Ali Al Noman, the sponsor, Bose set up his clinic. His personalized treatment as well as the tag “affordable doctor” made him popular among expatriates of all nationalities as well as nationals in a short span of time.
There was no turning back since then. And all along he also made sure that all those depending on him were well taken care of and extended a helping hand to various charitable causes. |

Dear Bose,
Glad to hear that you are celebrating 25 years of medical service to the people of UAE especially all their sickness affecting the largest organ of the body. Namely the SKIN. It is indeed remarkable that you have achieved this without any special support from any one. You have achieved this by your own sustained sincere effort and by Gods
