Al Salam Medical Centre, the First Private Dermatology Centre to be established in the Emirate of Sharjah was opened to public on the 25th, March 1982 by Mr. Hassan Abdulla Ali al Noman, the Sponsor of the Centre .

Being the dream and vision of its founder, Dr.S.C.Bose, it was the first Indian Private Dermatology Centre in the whole of UAE and attracted patients from all the seven emirates.

Dr Bose is presently the Managing Director of the Centre.

In March 1983, the Gynecology & GP Department was opened under Dr(Mrs)R.Sainani M.D and continues to work here.

In 1998 Cosmetology Section was added and Dr. Mrs.Bindu Anil joined as lady dermatologist who worked for 3 years before shifting to sister concern Al Ameen Medical Centre. Dr.T.C.Ramesh M.D DERMATOLOGIST and COSMETOLOGIST joined in 2004 and still works here.
